Definitely worth all the hype. Our server’s name was Matthew and he was incredibly nice and gave us all the details about the menu. All of our appetizers were really good except for the baked clams(not my favorite). THE GARLIC BREAD WAS ACTUALLY INSANE. Spicy rigatoni was actually so busss. Combining with the chicken parm( huge portion btw) was the best choice we made. Their menu is intended to share so be mindful when ordering. One thing I love about this place is that they make everything in house so everything is so freshhh.

Absolutely loved our experience at Arthur & Sons! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, lively, and full of great energy. The food was incredible, everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with so much care. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in both quality and hospitality. A special shoutout to the general manager, Hermond, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. His attention to detail and genuine kindness truly stood out and made the night even more memorable. If you’re looking for amazing food, great service, and a spot that makes you feel like a valued guest, Arthur & Sons is it. We’ll definitely be back!

We were here for a small group birthday lunch celebration on a weekday. Food was good. I didn't have any of my friends' food & I recall they all looked good. Rigatoni Pasta with sausage, meatballd was excellent (I had this one -- forgot the name). Limoncello cheesecake was perfect with cappuccino.

I was told this place had the best vodka pasta in New York City. I can't confirm that but I can't confirm this was the BEST vodka pasta I've had in New York City so far! Wow! I can't wait to return to try it again. to be on the healthier side we ordered a side of broccoli in a garlic olive oil sauce. The broccoli taste like it was microwaved. Add zero flavor unfortunately. They still get five stars because of the pasta and the great service from our waitress. I'm sad that I wasted money on the broccoli but it was a healthy treat on top of the decadent vodka sauce which once again... was amazing!!! Next time I'll get the Caesar salad which looked amazing on someone else's table.

I went for lunch during the week, so it was less busy than the weekends, but this place has a charm of its own and it was worth eating here. The service was great and attentive, along with the ambience they were playing great classic songs, the decor was amazing with pictures of the owners family??? but it felt personal, making it feel like home. The food is AMAZING, from their homemade bread dipping oil (with great garlic flavors), along with their cheesy bread, their pasta dishes are delicious and cooked just right, my favorite dish was the Fusilli alla Lemon! It was great in flavor and light to eat. ORDER THE MEATBALLS! Its their most popular dish. The dessert are amazing from their limoncello cheesecake to their Spumoni My Way (was my favorite!!!) if you love pistachio this is the dessert for you!

Amazing restaurant, welcoming environment, amazing food! We had no reservation we had seven of us and they were able to accommodate us. We waited approximately 45 minutes, which was no problem because they had a bar next-door. We went to and had a few drinks. We were a party of seven we got two pasta dishes, and two appetizers. They do big family plates so that’s what they recommended. The overall and ambience of the place was amazing. The pasta was super delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Absolute banger!!!! Staff was super friendly, our particular server was a doll, pandora playlist was fire (Michael Jackson playlist), Food… NEXT level… got the meatballs, spicy vodka dish and the lemon cream pasta dish… insanely good! I read a 1 star review about how awful their table was next to the kitchen… i believe we had the same table or something close to it, there was also other “open” tables when we arrived… but by the time we left the place was slammed… and the table was not awful at all! Felt cozy.. maybe have an open mind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT! I mean when you have Pizza Hut chandeliers u know it’s legit…

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to visit Arthur and Sons especially when I’ve heard nothing but good things. The food here is phenomenal and seasoned to literal perfection. The appetizers alone let me know I was about to have a great dinner. The Fried Calamari and Caesar Salad was so filling that by time our entrees came we knew they were coming home with us. The atmosphere is very cozy with good music to go with it. Thank you to the staff for being so attentive and giving wonderful recommendations, the Shrimp Alla Fantasia did not disappoint. I will 100% be back!

Looking for a charming Italian spot in the West Village of NYC? Look no further than Arthur & Sons. This cozy and quirky restaurant may be small, but it exudes a delightful charm that will captivate you from the moment you step inside.

The interior of Arthur & Sons is bright and cheerful, reminiscent of a glossy pop video with scalloped red leather booths and the sounds of Sinatra softly playing in the background. The youthful energy is palpable, but the noise level might be a bit overwhelming for some. However, if you can look past that, you're in for a treat.

Now, let's talk about the food. The vodka sauce at Arthur & Sons steals the show—it's rich, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the spicy rigatoni. The meatballs are tender, well-seasoned, and practically fall apart with each bite, resembling a bolognese dream.

During a spring evening or a quick winter lunch, Arthur & Sons works its magic. But the real winner here is the burrata. Creamy, indulgent, and consistently delightful, it's a must-try on the menu.

Overall, despite the noise, occasional lackluster moments, and confusing marinara, Arthur & Sons has a unique charm that sets it apart. If you're in the mood for Italian cuisine with a touch of flair, this restaurant is worth a visit.
